Supreme x Jim Henson's Muppet Workshop In early 2008, mysterious posters appeared in NYC and LA featuring a photo of Kermit the Frog wearing a Supreme box logo tee. Rumors swirled as whether this was an official collaboration from Supreme, or simply the work of someone independently wheat-pasting posters around the downtown area.. The original Supreme shop opened on Lafayette St. in 1994, and some of the first items produced and sold were Tees. Supreme has celebrated the opening of new shops, commemorated iconoclasts from Lou Reed to Kermit the Frog, and developed its irreverent voice - all with Tees.
