On the Srf, I got annoyed with one or the other fog lights going on and off so much on the winding road I drive every day so I just started leaving them on all the time. I like the feature when I am turning an actual corner, but found it more distracting than helpful on a curvy road.. Right, but if the fog lights are off, srf is active unless you disable it manually. My question is, can the SRF be made to be disabled by default? If I tap the fog lights to energize a relay for aux lights, my aux lights will come on every time the fog lights activate (on that side) by steering, unless I manually disable it.

No joy. The SRF default position is "on" and disconnecting the switch retains that setting. I wanted to share and hopefully save someone else the trouble of looking for the answer. I did email Subaru and will update this post if & when they respond, about a dealer setting to disable.. So I picked up my my 2016 XT Touring yesterday and it has the steering responsive Foglights. Does anybody know any details about how they work and how well they work? I bought a pair of LED foglight upgrades from @Diode Dynamics and now that I see that it has SRF, I am concerned that replacing.
