Locate your lock's default 6-digit Programming Code. Look at the sticker label on the front of your user guide or on the back of the keypad assembly to find the default Programming Code.. To change the 4-Digit Code on a Schlage Lock: 1. Delete old user codes. Before you want to change the code on your Schlage door lock, you can delete your old user code on your Schlage keypad locks with the following instructions: Enter the Programming Code (six numbers); wait for three Orange Lights + 3 Beeps.
Enter the six-digit programming code. Press the "Schlage" and then the "5" keys. The lockset's beep function is now disabled. To restore the beep function, repeat steps 1 and 2. To delete all user codes simultaneously: Enter the six-digit programming code. Press the "Schlage" and then the "6" keys. All codes have now been deleted, and new ones.. Begin by entering the existing six-digit programming code on the keypad. This code allows you to access the lock's programming mode. After entering the code, wait for the keypad to signal with three orange lights and three beeps, indicating readiness for the next step. Press the Schlage Button Press the Schlage button on the keypad.
