This Owner's Manual contains instructions for installing, operating, and maintaining the Lionel Command Control Smoke Fluid Loader. Learn how to program the address, fill the reservoir, and operate the loading arm. This accessory can be used with any locomotive and any track system, and is compatible with the LEGACY CAB-2, CAB-1L, or TMCC CAB-1 remote.. the smoke unit switches under the sand dome hatch on the top of the locomotive and slide them to the OFF position. Refer to Figure 6 on page 8 for the location of the switches. Main stack smoke and the Whistle Steam effect are controlled independently. For best performance, we recommend using Lionel smoke fluid only.

Your Smoke Fluid Loader has a large reservoir inside the storage tank for holding smoke fluid. To fill the tank, open the plug on the top of the tank. Lift straight up on the outside edge of the round lid. We recommend using only Lionel Premium Smoke Fluid (6-37841), available from your local dealer or Lionel.com. Replace the cap after filling.
