however, there have been other causes of the door lock/unlock issue. I had it happen before 3 or 4 times but not for a while. Next time it happens, open and close all doors on your truck and see if it stops. The last time it would not stop and it seems when my buddy got out of my truck the last time, he had not fully closed the door on his side.. 1. start with ignition off, pull back multifunction switch and hold it while doing next step 2. turn key on and off TWICE then, with the key OFF release the multifunction switch you will hear the door lock switch cycle to let you know you are in programming mode. 3. press the LOCK side of the switch twice. you have now turned off the auto door.
I have had a lot of problems recently with my 2007 GMC Sierra SLT Crew Cab 4x4. The headlights and dome lights will flash when I hit my brake. Radio will make a pop sound when brake is hit. Doors will unlock and lock on their own while driving. Service stabilitrak and traction control warnings will come on. RPM and MPH gauges will turn off an on.. I'm tempted to try to pry the drivers side door lock/unlock trim up to see if that switch or the passenger side lock/unlock switch may be bad. I would verify this by unplugging the switch while the doors were doing the random lock/unlock behavior.. if the problem persists. In the mean time, I'm driving my Impala because the the locks keep.
