The ÄKTA ready™ systems are designed for process scale-up and small-scale production. Methods developed at the laboratory scale can be easily transferred to the ÄKTA ready™ system and further scaled up to the ÄKTA ready™ XL system using the UNICORN™ control software, which is compatible across ÄKTA™ systems for easy method transfer.. ÄKTA readyflux XL is an automated single-use filtration system for manufacturing scale. The system is intended for tangential flow filtration applications in both upstream and downstream workflows and is compatible with both flat sheet cassettes and hollow fiber cartridges.

The flow kits are supplied gamma irradiated and include single-use flow path, pumps, and sensors for pressure, conductivity, temperature, flow, and pH (depending on choice of flow kit)..
